The Evolution of a Knight By Raven, Magpie, Swift, Falcon, and Vulture

One copied the picture of a knight from a book, then another copied his picture, then another copied that picture. They thought it was fun to see the evolution.

When I Stare by Raven

What if you saw me, what if you wanted me, what if you cared?

What if you liked me, what if you loved me, what if you dared?

Am I below your notice, or beyond your line of sight?

What if you needed me, what if you noticed, when I stared?

The Dark by Raven

I fear the dark.

I fear the depths of loneyness.

To be forgotten, but not gone...

What could be worse?

To live in a world where no one knows your pain,

And no one cares enough to learn.

I fear oblivion.

I fear ignorance.

But not my own.

I fear other's ignorance of me.

To be ignored.

Forgotten.

Alone.

Yes, I fear the dark.

But every day the sun must set.

And we all have to live with the shadows.

Distance by Raven

People say distance doesn't matter. People say that absence makes the heart go fonder. People lie. Distance does matter. Distance always matters. Absence makes people grow apart. Whether it's a friend, or a love. They all leave eventually, leaving you alone, in the dark. You're lost, with nowhere to go. And you're not even sure where you've come from. Everyone expects you to just carry on, so you do. But your heart still aches from the loss. It will always ache, because it will never be the same. Yet it's not a death. They're still very much alive. But that almost makes it worse. You slowly lose touch with them, and you grow apart. Eventually, you'll forget you were even that close with them. You may even forget who they are. Or they may forget who you are. It's not fun, distance. People try to make you think it will be ok, but it never is. Eventually, you'll lose everyone to either distance, death, or anger. And I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry. But there's nothing you can do about it.

The Animals of My World By Raven

Pigs.

Pink and noisy. I can eat them.

Sheep.

White and woolly. I can sheer them.

Cows.

Brown and white. I can breed them.

Chickens.

White and flappy. I can hatch them.

Horses.

Black and white. I can ride them.

Dogs.

Gray and loyal. I can tame them.

Cats.

Orange and fast. I can feed them.

These are the animals of my world.

Animal Planet by Raven

On my way home from school.
A flash of blue light.
Surrounded by giant snakes.
They make me fight for my life.
I'm in a jungle.
We escape.
Find a raft.
Crazy rabbits.
Swim to another island.
How is this better?
Take us to your leader.
Professor Carrot Top.
We have to visit The Hunter
The wise old owl can take us home.
He's actually not that old.
But he can still take us home.
He gives us a potion.
Before I leave, he gives me a feather.
It will make me dream of this land.
I wake up in my bed.
It must've been a dream.
A letter from my great uncle.
Only I drink it.
The feather.
Is inside.
The envelope.
Maybe it wasn't a dream?
